Climate Scientist

Martial Artist

aboutME
I'm a climate scientist, a space enthusiast, a martial artist and an avid lover of Mother Nature. Initially trained as a civil engineer, I quenched my interest in understanding how our planet and its atmosphere work by earning a PhD in atmospheric science and modelling at the University of Nottingham. I then joined the University of Waterloo in Canada as a postdoctoral researcher in remote sensing and climate change under Dr. Christopher Fletcher's group. I currently work at RSA Canada as senior catastrophe management consultant.
I indulge my passion for life and personal growth through several avenues. I am immensely passionate about the night sky, for the stars are a reminder that we are but infinitesimally tiny beings in the vastness of the universe (and let's face it, nobody can resist a sky full of stars!). Martial arts are the pillars of my body and mind. Meditation and music are food for my soul. Nature and wildlife are my humbling reminders of the beauty and harmony of life. My photography portrays how I see the world. Above all, I love sharing passion, knowledge and experience.
Get in touch if you have any questions or if you would like to find out more about me, my work and my interests.
